Who doesn’t love the movie Elf? It is high on my list of favorite Christmas movies, so I am excited to be seeing Elf the Musical later this month when it comes to Boston at the Boch Center. Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit, Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy’s enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner Elf.
Performances of the show are Tuesday, November 28 through Sunday, December 10: Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm, Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, with matinees on Saturdays at 2:00 pm and Sundays at 1:00 pm. As Buddy would say though, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, so imagine me singing this: “Fa la la la la, I have a giveaway!” Head on over to my facebook page for an exclusive giveaway for a family 4 pack to the show!
