School is wrapping up in New England and the problem of how to keep kids engaged in learning over the summer always comes up. As parents, we want our kids to continue to grow but want summer to be fun too. Well, the Boston Museum of Science allows kids and their parents to learn and have fun at the same time while studying critical STEM topics. We brought the monsters recently to check out all the museum has to offer and the girls had a blast.
The museum hall has so many amazing exhibits. The girls really loved the electricity show and the dinosaur exhibit the best, while I marvelled at the optical illusions and food art rooms, proving there really is something for everyone. You could easily spend an entire day in the museum and not get bored once.
The museum also has various add on tickets including a planetarium, butterfly garden, and IMAX theater. We chose to take the girls to the 4D theater which had an amazing Dora film playing. The movie was about 15 minutes long and featured not only 3D animation but also other elements like snow and rain. The girls really loved it and we will definitely go back to catch another show.
I personally cannot wait to go back to see this summer’s upcoming Pixar exhibit being the big Disney nerd that I am.
Make sure you check the Museum of Science this summer and tell me in the comments below which exhibit you would run to first.
