So, Lea Monster is growing up. Like her older sister before her, she was not too into potty training. And just like Zoe, one day she seemingly just decided it was cool to go on it after all. We didn’t ask, but this Monday she just stripped down and went. She’s been keeping it up pretty good all week, just like that.

Also, like her sister, she loves a good binkie for bed. Today, I jokingly asked if she was going to give them to the Easter Bunny and she remarkably said yes. She went so far as to try to collect them up and hand them to me (the mall Bunny isn’t in yet though.)
Literally, in the span of one week, she seems to be ready to leave all things baby behind her. And while I am both proud and happy to get rid of diapers, I also feel a smidge sad. This is the last of the baby stuff in our house. I’m pretty certain of the fact that Lea will be the last monster in our lineage, so it’s bittersweet. I feel like in a blink, she’ll be in school just like Zoe was. I wish I had the ability to freeze her right now. So sweet and perfect in every way before she makes the full jump to being a “big girl.” But hey, even if the technology existed, I’m pretty sure I’m too late.
