If there is one thing Zoe loves, it is when we all sit around to play some sort of board game together. Tonight we got a chance to try out some new holiday USAopoly games, and she had a blast! The first game we played was Memory Challenge: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Edition.
I always loved Memory since it seemed to be cleverly disguised learning, and Zoe had a blast playing with us and then by herself since this game allows for single player play.
|She’s a fan!|
The next game we tried out was OPERATION: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas edition. We actually just watched this movie for the first time, so the timing could not have been better for us to play it.
It’s Oogie Boogie with a host of ghoulish ailments. Put on your scrubs and enter Dr. Finkelstein’s lab as you operate on the Boogie Man in this classic game of removeable parts. It will take a steady hand to get rid of Oogie’s “crawling flesh”, “spider veins”, “snake eyes” and more. Watch out for Oogie’s revenge. If your surgery fails, Oogie will let you know. So, let the incision begin before Oogie dies laughing!
