We wrapped up our mini vaca at Story Land, a favorite location for families in New Hampshire. I had never been to Story Land when I was little so I was excited to bring the girls. The park is definitely geared towards little ones; I would think the ideal age range is 1-5. Story Land is a lot more slow paced then most theme parks. There doesn’t seem to be much rushing or hurrying going on which was mostly a great thing when maneuvering with a toddler; however, the snail’s pace wait for the carousel to start is not something I recommend to moms with wee ones (they waited until the ride was full so just sneak on at the last second.) Zoe and Lea had a great day and especially loved meeting Cinderella inside her castle. Here’s my pros and cons
- Lea could go on almost every single ride! That is awesome.
- You can bring in a cooler for lunch. We packed the girls lunch and got salads and fries for ourselves which were yummy and pretty cheap.
- Clean, clean, clean!
- I would have liked a few more thrill rides, though the ones we experienced were fun. Then again, this is a park aimed at the pre-k crowd.
- The carousel’s really long wait time to start.
